What a wonderful morning we had at Woodman Point.

Everyone has commented on how much they enjoyed the tour and learning so much of our early history. We can understand why you are so passionate about the Quarantine Station with your beloved family memories.  However it takes very special people to do what you’re doing on a volunteer basis, for the benefit of us all to fully appreciate our ancestry and history.

A very interesting tour and very relevant to our current situation with the COVID virus. It’s on our doorstep and didn’t know about it and even more history remains hidden in the surrounding scrub land.

 

Passionate tour guides helped create a greater appreciation of what life would have been like back then.

The way you two tandem-ed today was outstanding.  And the displays are fabulous.  My background includes Heritage Interpretation Officer (Rottnest Island and the old CALM) and Museum Manager & Curator at Claremont Museum. Personally, Keith and I have gone on tours all over the world and nothing beats a guide with passion and understanding.  We felt very privileged today.
